Our new position paper calls for a single EU Weighing Instrument Regulation, replacing today's fragmented framework with one coherent set of rules across Europe. A single regulatory framework would reduce complexity, strengthen legal certainty, support innovation and improve the functioning of the Single Market.
Because Europe's competitiveness depends on simpler and smarter regulation.
